Cloud computing has been around for quite a long time offering tons of advantages to companies and startups. From business ad efficiencies to cost benefits and competitive advantages.

If you didn’t know, Bahrain is one of the leading countries in the GCC in shifting towards cloud computing. The Amazon Web Services (AWS) chose Bahrain to establish a data center that serves the entire region! Government entities started moving to the cloud as well. Recently, Mumtalakat joined the movement by migrating its IT infrastructure to the Amazon Web Services Cloud (AWS).

Founder and legal advisor, Ali Alaali came onto the scene with ADVVO, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company and a translation house, originally aimed to provide services mainly for the legal sector. According to Ali, the inspiration behind ADDVO kicked in during his experience at work in dealing with other companies and lawyers as a legal advisor for a multinational company.

ADDVO, established in 2015, is deeply integrated through Google Cloud and G Suite (formerly known as Google Apps) to offer practical and infrastructure style cloud-based solutions to lawyers. Our solutions fall into two categories, specialized solutions (which serve particular industries e.g. Law Firms, Debt Collection Agencies, Corporate Legal Departments, etc…) and generic solutions (applicable to multiple sectors)”, he said.

Ali told us that he choose Bahrain to establish ADVVO due to the ease and cost of starting and doing business is clearly the best in the region. In fact, the process to setup ADDVO was pretty smooth! It was launched using the Sijilat system.

“We will start offering a customized version of our flagship product (ADVVO one) for the Saudi and Emirati market. This is something we already planned for this year and now we are finishing the final touches.”
