Cincinnati-based business innovation firm Besomebody, Inc. has wrapped up its second major acquisition in two months. The company announced last week that it has acquired Canadian augmented reality and artificial intelligence startup Pixelbug Technologies for an undisclosed amount.

As part of the deal between the two, Pixelbug founder and CEO, Dany El Eid, will hop on to Besomebody as the company’s new Senior Director of Technology.

The move is aimed at further strengthening the technological inventory of Besomebody as the company pushes to establish itself as the world’s leading platform for skill-focused job training programs and employer services. Besomebody’s offerings are typically optimized to polish core aspects of an enterprise’s growth and development including their content strategy, company culture, recruitment, and training.

It is worth noting here is that the company’s clientele consists of several Fortune 500 companies including Pepsico, Kroger, Mass Mutual, Sony Mobile, Nestle, and P&G, among others.

“We’re so grateful to add Pixelbug’s deep AR and AI expertise to our team,” said Kash Shaikh, Besomebody, Inc. Founder and CEO.

He added: “Dany, in particular, has been a pioneer in this space for seven years, and our team will instantly benefit from his knowledge, passion, and experience. There are so many practical applications of AI and AR that we can weave into our business and products to better deliver on our mission to help build the world’s best companies. That means enabling even more companies to find great people, do great work, and create great cultures.”

With the acquisition of Pixelbug, Besomebody now has a vast and sophisticated portfolio of AR and AI technologies to boost its partner services such as business strategy, software development, design and marketing, and brand identity.
