StartUp Bahrain is proud to bring an exciting opportunity to aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage startups in the Kingdom. Any entrepreneur looking to turn their unique business idea or startup into a real, tangible, and scalable business model is welcome to join our Digital Pitch Competition in collaboration with Bahrain’s first Business Angels Company, Tenmou.
The StartUp Bahrain Digital Pitch Competition comes with numerous perks for up-and-coming businesses including a cash reward worth $7,000.
To participate in the competition, you have to send a three-minute video pitching your startup or business idea. The video should brush upon the following content:
● Business Concept – a two-paragraph narrative on your business
● Business Model – a graphic representation of your business model and critical aspects of the venture
● Pitch Deck – a pitch deck that includes a Business Plan with the following details:
- Team contact information: contact name, address, email, and telephone.
- Executive summary (limit 500 words)
- Market Analysis (limit 250 words)
- Description of Product/Service (limit 250 words)
- Outline of Marketing and Sales Strategy (limit 250 words)
- Names of Team Members (Linkedin page if available)
- Summary of the idea or concept.
- Value Proposition (value for customers)
- Target Market (Size and Characteristics)
- Competitive Analysis
- Revenue Model and Estimate (sales, subscription, advertisement)
A panel of experts will shortlist the 10 startups with the best pitches. Each of these 10 startups will be then featured prominently on the StartUpBahrain website. Additionally, these 10 startups will also be introduced to Tenmou’s rather extensive investors network (among other perks).
The eligibility criteria are simple — all you have to do is meet the following three requirements:
- Have a high growth potential business or business idea.
- Have products or services that are scalable and relevant to the local market.
- Submit a 3 minutes video pitch, along with a deck that clearly outlines the company’s services and potential
