Press Release.

Hope Ventures, the investment arm of Hope Fund, hosted a one-day brainstorming session with key stakeholders to outline entrepreneurial initiatives for students in line with its 2022 strategy.

Participants discussed entrepreneurship awareness, entrepreneurial mindset development, business idea enhancement, and increasing the number of student-led businesses. Stakeholders discussed the pillars in diverse groups which included university students and faculty from all universities in Bahrain, entrepreneurs, and entities including His Highness Shaikh Nasser Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Centre, Tamkeen, Bahrain Economic Development Board, INJAZ and the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.

Sharing her experience on the event, General Manager of Hope Ventures, Fajer Al Pachachi, said: “To identify and invest in the most promising businesses in Bahrain, we need to ensure that individuals are given the opportunity to start their businesses and hone their entrepreneurial skills. This starts as early as university, as students begin to explore different career paths and are exposed to opportunities that shape their decisions.”

Al Pachachi adds, “Some of today’s biggest international companies were launched by students on university campuses. At Hope, we aim to identify hardworking, passionate Bahraini students with a global outlook and high potential businesses, ensuring that we are at the forefront of supporting them towards success.”

Hope will launch new initiatives in 2022 which will provide access to a wealth of knowledge and investment that can fuel the entrepreneurial journey for regional and international expansion.
