Wasel Lee, a Saudi-based logistics platform has announced it has just received Series A funding worth $133,000 led by three individual investors.

Wasel Lee was among the most prominent projects incubated by the Badir Program for Technology Incubators and Accelerators at the Abha incubator. The company plans on using the funds to introduce new features and products, while simultaneously developing its core technology and expanding its workforce in the southern region of Jizan.

“The platform offers a wide range of services and products to individuals and companies through a mobile phone application. It has a wide and growing network of partners in the fields of food provisions, finance, real estate, medical supplies and bookings,” said Imad Murad, founder and partner of Wassel Lee.

He added: “The growth of the platform over the past year has backed our intention to start new investment rounds and provide a larger capital to expand these services and open up new markets in order to make this platform accessible to a larger segment of customers.”

Since its launch in 2017, Wasel Lee has been thriving as a leading provider of an array of delivery services. The company enables users to request food supplies, daily supplies, special services, mail receipts, and other services that can be delivered as per their convenience.
