Sheraa has announced it is now accepting applications for the 2019 cohort of its Series A program. Designed to help up to 10 startups to optimize their strategy and customer experience, the program is stepping stone for recipients to prepare for the next round of investment.

More importantly, Sheraa’s Series A program doesn’t take away any equity from participating startups. It spans three months during which participating startups are provided with extensive training through a series of lectures and workshops focused on a diverse range of topics such as expansion, fundraising, leadership, strategy, and so on. Additionally, the participants also receive one-on-one mentorship from global experts.

The top-performer in the three-month program will receive a grant of $50,000, Sheraa confirmed, without disclosing how it is going to pick the winner.

To be eligible for the Series A program, the applying startup must have been operational for no less than two years. Another important criteria is that the applicant must be earning revenues, but facing challenges with customer engagement.

Sheraa has also made it clear that they will accept only those startups where founders are fully committed to the venture. Startup founders are also required to be fluent in English as that’s the language the program will be delivered in.

At the end of the program will be the Showcase Day where participating startups will pitch their ideas and innovation in front of an audience comprising business leaders, investors, and top government officials.
