In case you haven’t noticed, the Transform Awards MENA 2018 is just over a month away and the shortlist for this year’s award is promising something truly new and exciting. For starters, the event is taking place on May 8 at the XX in Dubai to celebrate excellence in brand development and rebranding.

The shortlist this year includes businesses from all across the Middle East and North Africa. As the norm is, the majority of the shortlisted companies are from the hospitality and real estate sectors. Although there is a strong presence of businesses from other verticals too.

Telecom, in particular, has emerged one of the most “happening” sectors in the shortlist for Transform Awards MENA 2018. Among key entries representing the sector are the likes of Omantel, Virgin Mobile, and Etisalat. The financial services sector is another vertical that’s sure to grab some attention with the likes of Alawwal Bank, Ecobank, the Gulf International Bank in the race.

Speaking of the forthcoming edition of the event, Brittany Golob, editor of Transform magazine, says: “We’re pleased to host the fifth anniversary of the Transform Awards MENA at the beautiful St Regis hotel in Dubai this year. It will be a recognition of the best the region has to offer in rebranding and brand development. Alongside the awards, the Middle East Brand Summit is putting forth its most comprehensive programme yet. It will be a true celebration of the brand.”

The Transform Awards MENA this year will be accompanied by the fifth edition of the annual Middle East Brand Summit, an event for business leaders and professionals to address the various challenges and opportunities that lay ahead of businesses in the field of brand development and rebranding.

Tickets for both the award and the summit are already available online. (via the Transform magazine)
