Bahrain’s telecom operator Zain Bahrain is launching a new initiative to keep children occupied during the holidays this summer. The company has announced the dates for the forthcoming Zain’s Technology Camps for kids, which will focus on providing interactive, educational, and fully-supervised entertainment all throughout the summer vacation.

The summer tech camp for kids will begin on July 1 and run till August 30. Zain Bahrain has also announced that it entered into a partnership with the AI Ruwad Center to host the camp.

The technology-centric summer camp will include a whole range of activities including the basics of building robots, game development, STEAM projects, arts and crafts, mental games, and mad science.

“The Technology Camp is a continuation of Zain Bahrain’s efforts to support the community. Our children are the future, and Zain Bahrain’s aim is to improve the intellectual, social, and technological education awareness amongst the next generation,” said Shaikh Abdulla Al Khalifa, Zain Bahrain Director of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations.

He added, “We stress on fun but at the same time we want our children to learn, and Zain Bahrain’s Technology Camp will allow children how to engage in aspects of game development, and real-life robotics technology.”

All children within the age group of 6-16 are eligible to participate in the camp, which will be divided into four groups. The timings are:

  • Group#1: 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday)

  • Group#2: 04:00 PM to 07:00 PM (Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday)

  • Group#3: 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday)

  • Group#4: 04:00 PM to 07:00 PM (Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday)
