Following its best practices to be among the top countries in the region to highlight women’s success stories and encourage female entrepreneurship, Bahrain hosts another flagship event to point out the contribution of women to the business and economic development.

For the second year in a row, the Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society is organizing a forum to celebrate business initiatives and entrepreneurial spirit amongst women. Under the patronage of H.R.H Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King of Bahrain, and President of Supreme Council for Women (SCW), the three-day event starts on November 15.

The theme of this year’s edition of the Businesswomen Forum and B2B Exhibition will be ”Women in the Engineering Field”. The event includes five sessions focused on different aspects of engineering, including international entrepreneurship initiatives, sustainable industrial development, entrepreneurship, women engineers’ strides, and more.

The primary goal of the event is to strengthen the promising role of women in the nation’s economic growth and job creation. The strategic partners of the exhibition include Labor Fund Tamkeen, the Economic Development Board (EDB), UNIDO, and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), The GCC Federation of Chambers, the Bahrain Development for Training and Human Resources. The exhibition opens on Monday from 3 to 7 PM. Afterwards, it will be opened again on Tuesday from 10 AM to 7 PM and on Wednesday from 10 AM to 1 PM.
