H.H. Shaikha Dheya bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa, the President of the Bahraini-based Riyada Consulting, announced last week a new deal with the UK-based nH2 Limited, a leading provider of AI technology, materials discoveries, and computational science solutions with a clear focus on energy, water, and technology.

The deal, according to nH2 Chief Executive Justin Hall, will play a crucial role in setting the right platform for scientists and innovators in the GCC region to cooperate and develop cutting-edge technologies to resolve the ever-increasing scarcity of resources worldwide.

According to H.H Shaikha Dheya bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa, collaboration is the“perfect fusion” that bridges the gap between science, entrepreneurialism, and social responsibility. Among other perks, it will also pave the way for new tools and resources for younger generations to proactively indulge in scientific work, which in turn, could usher a new era of discoveries.

Speaking of the recently inked deal between the two companies, CEO for the Asia and MEA unit of nH2, said, “Our timing could not have been better as we look forward to helping the GCC countries transform its traditional trading economies into one that helps create Intellectual properties that can disrupt multi-billion industries around the world as well help solve some of the most basic regional problems for drinking water,”

He added, “We are creating IP’s that can bring disruptive & low-cost manufacturing for multiple industries in the region. Partnering with Riyada opens multiple doorways for us into the GCC as we share similar visions of the importance of knowledge economy development with Shaikha Dheya within the region.
