Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF) recently joined forces with Newton Legal Group to conduct a BBBF “Legal” Special Interest Group (SIG) panel discussion.

The event saw a panel of experts walking BBBF members and guests through the various legal and commercial aspects of startups and accelerators in Bahrain. Among other relevant issues, the panel also discussed the fast evolving startup ecosystem in Bahrain along with the contribution of “accelerators” in ensuring entrepreneurial success for emerging business leaders.

It also addressed the important role of businesses in the development of the Kingdom’s economy, as well as how to further nourish them and the challenges that lay ahead.

For the attendees, including BBBF members, the panel discussion shed light on the various intrinsic details of commercial contracts, as well as legal safeguards that drive the development of the country’s startup sector. They were also briefed on the latest policies and regulations introduced by the Bahraini government and the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) to turn the Kingdom into a startup hub in the region.
