It’s time to prep yourself up for the forthcoming edition of Global Entrepreneurship Week – Bahrain edition. Tamkeen is hosting the event from Nov 17 – 24 in collaboration with the Global Entrepreneurship Network in the Kingdom — GEN Bahrain

The objective of the event remains the same as the past three editions — to further boost Bahrain’s growing status on the global business and entrepreneurship landscape. Additionally, it will also try and encourage more youths to take up entrepreneurship as a career choice.

For those with no prior exposure to the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), it’s often hailed as the largest entrepreneurial event in the world with an estimated 10 million people from 170 countries celebrating it each year.

There are more than 35,000 editions of GEW each year, including those in Bahrain. The coming edition of GEW Bahrain will include approximately 40 different activities focusing on four key domains — Policies, Procedures, and Regulations; Education; Inclusiveness; and Entrepreneurial Systems.

With more than 40 partners already on board, Tamkeen will probably have it much easier to smoothly organize the event — just like it has always done. The event will also feature the MENA Angel Investors Summit and the Zoholics International Conference, the latter being organized in the Kingdom for the first-ever time.

“Celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week has become an annual landmark event for entrepreneurial activities in Bahrain. By giving tomorrow’s entrepreneurs the opportunity to engage with experts and stakeholders in all sectors, we hope that to inspire them to take the initiative and navigate their path towards business ownership armed with the right approach and knowledge,” said Tamkeen CEO Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi.
