The 2019 edition of GITEX Tech Week, the largest technology trade show in the Middle East, was inaugurated Sunday in Dubai amidst much fanfare. Along with it came alive the Gitex Future Stars, which attracts what is probably the most exciting gathering of technology visionaries from all over the world.

For starters, those of you who would rather watch the event online rather than being present there physically, think again. Do you really want to miss out on witnessing live demonstrations of 1,200 kmph Hyperloop One?

Or for that matter, do you really want to miss out on the region’s largest 5G showcase, along with other insightful activities including brainstorming sessions on the potential of Gen Z, keynotes from renowned CEOs and international whistleblowers? If not, join thousands of tech experts and tech enthusiasts at the Dubai World Trade Center.

Meanwhile, over at the GITEX Conference, there will be more than 290 hours of content — a big chunk of which is free-to-attend. And yes, it doesn’t matter which industry or vertical you’re interested in as there’s something for everyone at the GITEX Conference — be it the energy, healthcare, digital marketing, smart cities, or anything that has something to do with ICT.

“As we open the 39th edition of GITEX Technology Week and the fourth edition of GITEX Future Stars, we will create the definitive innovation ecosystem with a focus on maximising the potential of human ingenuity,” said Trixie LohMirmand, Senior Vice President, Events Management, Dubai World Trade Centre.

She added: “From the UAE and around the world, we look forward to welcoming partners, visitors, investors and disruptors who are leveraging innovation to achieve first-mover success.”

Stay tuned as we bring more updates to you from the various activities at GITEX Conference 2019 and GITEX Future Stars.
