500 Startups has announced that the last date of submitting applications for its MENA Dojo Series A Program has been extended to March 15, 2018.

The Silicon Valley-based company that prides itself as the most active Venture Capital firm in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) conducts MENA Dojo to assist post-seed stage startups to expedite their growth to the next level. Among other perks, participants receive a one-on-one mentor-driven growth hacking program.

All MENA-based post-seed companies with significant traction and the roadmap for raising a Series A will be considered, says 500 Startups. The application process is exclusively online, and aspiring candidates can send in their applications by visiting: www.magnitt.com/500startups-mena-dojo.

Once the preliminary screening is done and the qualifying entries are shortlisted, a panel of experts comprising experienced mentors and partner will take over and provide extensive training to the selected startups. The Program will officially commence on April 1, 2018.

Each startup that makes it to the forthcoming batch of MENA Dojo will receive an investment worth $150,000 in addition to access to the elaborate growth hacking program.

“Our strategy at 500 Startups is to help grow the startup ecosystem through knowledge transfer and bringing global best practices to the region. During the past few weeks, we have received many applications from some truly great startups and I hope to see many more founders take advantage of the extended deadline and submit their entries. We are eagerly looking forward to an exciting program,” said Hasan Haider, MENA Partner, 500 Startups.

500 Startups made its debut in the MENA region in 2012 and has contributed to the success of more than 60 startups since.
