The business online banking forum, an event organized by the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) on June 25 saw a line-up of high-profile speakers to discuss various issues and exchange ideas about to the sector.

Held at the Four Seasons Hotel, the forum marked the launch of NBB’s new and improved business online banking platform.

The panelists included representatives from the Kingdom’s public and private sectors, along with leading FinTech and digital banking experts from the region. The audience, meanwhile, comprised 150 representatives from Bahrain’s business owner’s community.

“We’re extremely pleased to be offering our business customers the chance to benefit from the insights and know-how of a leading group of FinTech and digital banking experts,” said Yaser Alsharifi, Chief Strategy Officer at NBB.

“Digital banking is transforming the way that businesses transact and are managed around the world and we are excited to be enabling such a platform for our clients. The forum will focus on ensuring that they have the information necessary to leverage the numerous tools and features business online banking provides,” he said.

One key objective of the forum was to help business owners comprehend and internalize the various advantages of digital banking and how NBB’s new business online banking platform (currently in beta) can manifest in enhanced efficiency on several fronts.

The panel discussions primarily focused on how new and enhanced NBB services can help customers better manage payrolls, cash flows, alongside other vital accounting and banking functions.
