Kuwait-based tech startup JustClean is on a roll lately. Having won the “Future Stars” title in the prestigious Arabian Business Award 2019 late last week, the company has now announced that it is participating in the ongoing funding round of Keno.

Keno is a Dubai-based startup offering an on-demand car care app. Founded in 2017, the startup shot into fame by becoming the first-of-its-kind platform allowing car users in the UAE the luxury of eco-friendly premium washes at affordable costs. The company claims that it can help customers get rid of even the most stubborn stains on their vehicles.

Additionally, the app also lets users choose from a wide range of services including, but not limited to, battery change or recharge, tire replacement, oil change, and refueling.

JustClean’s decision to invest in Keno is prompted by the company’s founding vision of disrupting the cleaning sector using superior technology.

“Justclean’s vision of the cleaning space is strong and ambitious and that’s how we like it,” said Keno founder, Kenan Mobayed

Mohammed Jaffar, CEO at JustClean chipped in by saying: “This investment represents JustClean’s continued commitment to digitalizing traditionally offline cleaning markets.”

Worth noting here is that Keno has already established a presence in Abu Dhabi and currently working on a roadmap to expand to the rest of the UAE by the end of 2019. If all goes as per plan, they might soon launch to foreign markets including Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in the foreseeable future.
