The Bahraini delegation of entrepreneurs that qualified for the boot camp held as part of Pitch@Palace Global has successfully completed the program. It is the first-ever time the Kingdom is participating in the event and so far the outcomes have been really impressive.

The Bahraini entrepreneurs were shortlisted for the boot camp, being held at the St. James Palace in London from Dec 10 to 13, after their triumph at the local and GCC qualifying rounds of the mega-event.

The Pitch@Palace is counted among the most impactful event in the global entrepreneurship ecosystem. Held under the patronage of H.R.H. Prince Andrew, Duke of York, the event offers a platform to startups and emerging entrepreneurs to strengthen their ventures and gain visibility internationally.

All activities in the event, including the boot camp, are held as part of a wider, interactive program that empowers the participants to leverage a comprehensive network of global experts and industry leaders.

“The Kingdom of Bahrain has been a pioneering force in entrepreneurship at the international level and boasts a strong and distinctive experience in supporting the start-up business ecosystem and fostering economic development,” said Tamkeen‘s Chief Executive Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi. Dr. Ebrahim added that the impressive performance displayed by the Bahraini delegation has bolstered the Kingdom’s chances of hosting the GCC edition of Pitch@Palance 2019.

“Our representative entrepreneurs’ participation in this international competition is an opportunity to showcase Bahraini innovation to the international entrepreneurship community and expand the Kingdom’s involvement within the global economic system,” he noted.

The delegation underwent a two-day boot camp that consisted of a series of elaborate training workshops and specialized sessions aimed at helping participants bank on the development opportunities available in today’s fast-changing global economy.
