On April 15, Dubai will witness more than 350 expert speakers and exhibitors gathering up in the city to participate in the widely anticipated Seamless Middle East 2018 event.
What’s even more exciting is that Bahraini-based FinTech startup ValoPay is joining this year!
ValoPay offers online solutions to ease the process of payments to merchants without the need of having cash or paying in the store. Sellers can easily upload products and promote their product code on any social media platform or website.
Scheduled on April 15 and 16, the event will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center under the patronage of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister with the dual responsibility of heading the interior ministry.
Just to put things into perspective regarding the significance of Seamless Middle East, this is going to be the 19th edition of the annual event dedicated to FinTech, payments, and e-commerce.
“The Middle East region is going through an exciting phase, with the UAE claiming 15th rank in the Euromonitor International’s Digital Consumer Index 2017 and highest among emerging markets, underlining the government’s commitment to transforming the society and the industries digitally and seamlessly for the future,” says Joseph Ridley, General Manager of Seamless Middle East at Terrapinn.
With Saudi Arabia also actively pushing itself as one of the top-five emerging markets in the world, the GCC region is fast evolving into an epicenter for innovations and entrepreneurship in the field of financial technologies, Ridley added. Among the sectors with a particularly encouraging growth rate includes blockchain, online payment, artificial intelligence, and e-commerce, among others.
Just like the yesteryears, Seamless Middle East 2018 will also have several attractions for visitors who will get the chance to learn from demos and seminars based on multiple thought-provoking installations, as well as interviews, showcases, live interactive launches, and other attractions.
