Switzerland-based Seedstars has announced that it is ready to launch the company’s first hub in Egypt. Known as the Seedspace Cairo, the new venture will carry forward the company’s legacy of providing a platform for industry stakeholders to collaborate and drive technological changes in emerging markets.

Seedspace Cairo will officially go live with an introductory event scheduled on May 4, 2018, at 5:00 PM. The event is expected to be attended by entrepreneurs, investors, and other industry stakeholders from around the region and beyond.

The main agenda of Seedspace Cairo will be to promote entrepreneurship as a lifestyle while simultaneously undertaking a series of measures to launch different acceleration and academic programs aimed at boosting the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Among other things, Seedspace Cairo will also have a co-working space for startups and entrepreneurs. This facility will have a range of membership plans starting from single-desk areas to private offices meant for larger workforces.

Not just that, there will also be a co-living area where people from outside the city can come and stay to experience its rapidly evolving startup ecosystem.

“It is a strategic step for us at Seedstars, so that we can be closer to the community we have gathered over the last years, to continue supporting them 365 days throughout the year, with different activities, events and, of course, a great place from where businesses can be created, grown and scaled” said Romulo Navarrete, Head of Operations at Seedspace.
